Well CN, if holding a blue chip stock like IBM is considered gambling by the JWs then what would this Microcap high risk stock that WT has invested in be considered? That is the heighth of hypocracy.

I can see from your form Frannie that they are in Amsterdam. I wrote a post on this about two months ago. Many scam artists operate out of Amsterdam, Spain and the Phillipines. A few years ago when the F.B.I. did a sweep on boiler room operations some fled to these counties where they continue to operate financial scams.

Hi Frannie, your attachment (the form) did not show up on your post for me. In all likelihood this is a scam. Do not give thema any banking information. After all they could cut you a cheque if it was legit. Chances are this is a scam designed to give them access to your account so they can draw money from it. However, there is a very simple solution to this: Go to your bank manager with this info and see what he or she tells you.

What's this? WT investing in microcaps (very long term plays and high risk). This looks more like a favour to me. On another note (not necessarily related to this), kickbacks are a sad but real part of the business. I wonder who makes WT investment decisions?

illustrations that where false
by Grouper inhello everyone i am a new poster but have been lurking for quite some time, i wanted to know if any of you ever heard the following illustrations at meetings.
1) when i was a kid going to spanish meetings here in so cal i often heard speakers talk about satan being like a roaring lion ready to devour all humanity, then i would here the illustration of how lions hunt by roaring towards the ground this way the roar went everywhere and the prey would be easy pickings.
problem with this is once i studied in the fourth grade how lions hunt, found out lionesses are the ones that hunt and rely solely on stealth, ambush, the element of surprise to bring down their prey.
